I am retired U S military. I've seen more than I ever want to remember. I cannot imagine the calousness shown in Norway, it is unreal in the sheltered world that we live in. 1.5 hours of endless murder. Perhaps more expected in some sub-tropic third world countries, such a shock in a modern European society. I pray for the souls of the departed and shall pray much longer for those that have "survived". Is there any good and sanity left in our world?

God, please bless us all and guide us.

I apologize to anyone that I have offended by asking for some help from the Divine power.

no words can express my sorrow.

I pray and feel sorrow for so many victims and their families.

It warms my heart to read that prayers are made to those who need it.

The strongest ones, tried to swim the 600m to shore. The youngest did not..
Some grouped together in fear, and where glad when a man with police uniform finally came. He was holding a mini 14 - not a police gun.
Other tried to hide.. alone, with friends or with their boy/girl friend. Some made it, many did not.
..it's just too terrible to imagine.

I'm a grown man, who has seen death many times. But when kids die like this, it's just too much for me to hold back tears. Glad I can cry with you guys, people here are truly good hearted.

"If one man can show so much hatred, imagine how much love we can show together"

I was forced to go through a similar tragedy in Oklahoma City when Tim McVey blew up the Murrah building. My office was three blocks away and it blew some of the windows out of our building. I know what the good people in Norway are going through, they find it hard to believe one of their own could do such a thing, it's a hard thing to wrap your mind around. Time will help, but those that faced this will never forget, God Bless You and speed your healing.
