I was very excited when they first came out. I bought a Mitchell in 92 with a 1992 chamber date, the same year my son was born. I planned to pass this gun onto him and use it as an enjoyable shooter until then. After several trips back to the factory I sold it, not wanting to pass junk onto my son. I still have a spare magazine from this gun, which interestingly works flawlessly in my original Luger shooters.
