Pete, I believe that I've already emailed you more details, re price, models available, etc. It wouldn't hurt to shoot the new Parabellums, so long as you take care to maintain the finish and do proper cleaning. Since the price is not much higher than the new stainless lugers, I do think that the Mauser is a better investment. The only part that would be difficult to replace who be the barrel, should you wear one out, as these a long frame pistols like the Swiss and early DWMs and they weren't making a lot of 6" barrel then and I'm out of the Parabellum new barrels.
