Default English Pit Range - Vancouver, Washington

I went to the gun show in Portland, Oregon and was surprised that there was a table by the new operators of the English Pit Shooting Range in Vancouver, Washington.

IT IS OPEN AGAIN!

It had been closed fjor a couple of years and I thought that the developement in the area had forced a permanent closing but happily I was wrong.

Is "English Pit" a specific kind of range, or is it the name of the place???

It is the name of the range. The facility is in an old quarry and the area is developing around it so I was surprised to find out that it is open again.

A few years ago Tac Folly was visiting the Portland area and several of us met there for a nice visit and shoot.
