Hi Andy, Your hypothetical pair of matched magazines would be worth little more, if anything, than the value of the magazines individually. However, they would be worth a lot more to the owner of the matching gun. For example, I would happily pay $1,000.00, or more, for 9687b and 9687b+, to go with my near mint 1938 S/42. Regards, Norm
