You can improve your pictures by taking them in diffuse light. Don't use a flash. If you have a white sheet you can drape it over the area you're photographing at outdoors and end up with pretty even diffuse light.
You need to be able to control the focus on your camera for closeups. Your camera may have a "closeup" mode (the icon looks like a flower on many cameras). Use a tripod to hold the camera. It lets you concentrate on focus and exposure instead of the framing. A steady camera will help your camera focus better... Nice Luger! I really like Mausers of that period... Marc |
