I'm jealous. i have been looking for a good example of that pistol for about a year now. I have seen several that were not as nice. Good find.

A Reason sometimes to buy an example until a nicer one comes along.

Very nice example!

I would like to say thanks to everyone that has posted, This is all great infromation. I found this gun at an older friends house who is selling off all his gun's and ammo. I've already asked where it came from but he doesn't remember. I never thought i would find a gun with such history. In the very short time i have been on this forum you all have been very helpful, I'm a S&W guy but maybe I'll have to start looking at other German side arms. I would also add that i will be at the OGCA show next weekend and I am bring the Jager with me (just for show) row I table 5. Thanks again.....

Don't know the book value of it. But $1500 for a rare gun in this shape sounds good. The problem is.... not because it's rare then you have to like it. So, not really a mistake IMO, unless you really like it. Otherwise, $1500 have much more use than a C&R pistol.

$1500.00 is a good price, I would offer the same. Herman Historica (German auchion sight) normallyy gets between 800 - 1200 euros for good examples.

If you do wish to sell it keep me in mind
