axis pin keeps falling out..

If you are referring to the first or third pin, I've had Lugers on which one or both would fall out with no detectable ill effects other than the danger of losing the pin. I've never had the 2nd pin fall out as there is the tiny little pin to lock it in place.

If they get too loose they can cause feeding problems. If they are that loose you will have excess side play in the toggle when it's raised.

I don't know how to describe "excessive". Just compare to a few other Lugers.
