Toter, Many if not all of the weapons modified by reputable gunsmiths like Martz et al are not that historical. Most are Commercial Eagln N's so no great loss. You have to remember that many thousands of military Lugers were chromed! There was many ways to meet your doom if you were a Luger pistol in the last hundred years. Most modern smiths are carefull not to work/modify on rare & valuble weapons.
