In my opinion, there is no "standard" configuration. The majority of a "type" may conform to a pattern, but exceptions constantly crop up and there is no way of telling whether they were made that way or were subsequently modified. If you have a nice gun and it looks right, don't worry about it. No one can prove conclusively if it is right or wrong. __________________ If it's made after 1918...it's a reproduction
