Hi Bill, Aarron Davis put out such a book in 1997. It's called "The Luger Handbook", and was published by Krause. It could be helpful for identifying the different variations, but the price guide is laughably outdated. And, of course, you'll still be on your own when it comes to assessing authenticity!
