Hello, welcome to LugerForum.
It looks like you have a 1916 DWM. You need to ascertain as to whether or not all the parts have matching #'s.
Value depends a lot on what part of the country you live in. Here in South Alabama, shooters can bring $900 - $1200. Some on this forum say in other parts of the country, shooters go as low as $600.
Someone will be along shortly with far more knowledge than I on your friends Luger. This is a great and helpful bunch of guys.
