It's smooth bore. The round is dummy fitting chamber pretty well, but won't fire though, no powder inside. So no FFL required.
It's functional. Pull the trigger will release the hammer. I noticed the primer of the dummy round has a small indent at the center left by the previous owner. Obviously, firing pin works. Hold open by magazine follower works. Safety level works as well. The trigger cannot release the hammer after safety level is pushed down. But, unlike real Mauser, the safety level does not lift the hammer up. The baby can be put into the wood holster, and the holster can be attached as well. |
