Default FAKE EBay Holster

Gentlemen, Beware of this holster!!! It is a very fine study in what to look out for when you are spending your hard earned after tax dollars. Someone is going to get screwed bigtime on this one.
If you are an astute student of WW1 holsters you will immediately see why this CANNOT be authentic.

Jerry Burney

Hello Jerry,
I wrote the owner yesterday that it is the first time that I saw taht he is selling a fake. The backside of the holster, the part/place of the magazine is made like on these of the Third Reich. We find this kind of mag pouch not before 1926. The stiches of the closing straps of the Imperial Army holsters are 6, 2, 6. The measure/ proportion of the flap (left side more than right side) is nearly exactly like this of the Weimar time; it´s nearly the same as on my Fischer or Wunderlich 1926 and 1927 dated holsters. The holster maker didn´t exist and even the tool is a fake. You will also have mentioned the stichings of the lining/(casing) on the hosters backside. Imperial holsters don´t have these.
It´s a fake without any question.
Best regards to you and a good time in your summer house. Klaus Merzbach

Well, mainly, if he paid with PayPal or a credit card, he can demand his money back.....

I wrote two emails to the seller before the holster was sold but I do not got an answer. I also wrote an email to the one who won the auktion. I got his email address via the feetbacks. He asked me why I mean it would be a fake...
This holster is a fake!

I have bought a few bayonets from this seller and have found him to be one of the best sellers to deal with. But regarding this holster I agree with Klaus and Jerry it's bad.
