All, I have wanted to have a Luger for some time, and finally took the plunge last weekend.
I have, what I understand to be, a 1920 commercial. 9MM, and with original barrel based on s/n which matches frame. It has a "DVM scroll" and no chamber markings. It is a re-blue. S/N is 27XX and from examining parts appears to be all matching except for the magazine which is unnumbered. S/N is under the bore and on front of frame, and it has a "N" Proof on left side of frame and the word "GERMANY" on right. Bore is excellent. It's a nice shooter and what I wanted. I'd like to know when it was made, 1920's from ww1 parts? THANKS Sorry only 1 pic at this time: http://web.me.com/macnjam/Site/P08.html |
