Condition, condition and originality drives the price.
A nice 1937 with a wrong breachblock will be low in value. A import will be closer to $700 (or less) than one that is not imported. Your value of condition and mine might be different; but you saying one side is 90% and the other 80% is a huge difference, I presume it has significant wear or damage to it, lowering the value. Also; there are two variations of the 1937, those with strawing, those without. further, an original holster would not have a snap that would rub on the gun, I imagine it is a post war holster. The FAQ can help you in determining some of this. I would gues the $3000 is very unrealisitic if in same condition as you describe. Best thing is to go to gunbroker and then look at like guns that SOLD and not just what the asking price is.... Value sounds like $900-$1200 to me... Ed |
