1. can you verify if they are blue or straw?

It's a little weak but all strawed parts are correct.

2. What is it about the barrel that makes it prohibited???

Canadian Firearms Law states any firearm with a barrel less than 4.1 inches is prohibited. I can still possess this class of firearm because I owned one before the law came into effect. If my licence lapses or I sell off all my prohibited firearms then I lose this right forever.

PS maybe I could stretch the barrel with a torch, I only need a quarter of an inch. (don't look at me like that, i'm just joking)

I just read on another forum that the first part of the serial number is stamped inside the sideplate.
