My father has a Luger 9mm barrel in new condition seeing that I have caught a new disease Lugeritis I would like to buy it from him. What would a fare price be for a barrel he payed $20.00 for it. It has one proof mark on the bottom of the barrel near the chamber, it looks like a eagle over 623 not sure, very light stamp and I don't have a magnifying glass.
Also I am looking for a shooter Luger if anyone is selling one or knows of where I could acquire one it would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris |

I have a Russian rework that could be considered a shooter in nice condition . Price is $800. I you are serious, contact me at bayfieldz@comcast.net . I would think the barrel would be worth $50.00. David

Numrich has new repro 4" barrels for $104.95...
![]() They also occasionally list a 6" barrel [464020 for 9mm; 464110 for 30 cal] for $51.95. I've bought and installed both of the 6" barrels, and they are acceptable in quality and finish. They don't seem to be listed online, but are listed in my catalog. They also list a 16 1/4" barrel [709360 & 194880 w/forestock] for $93.75...for squirrel hunting, I suppose... ![]() Indexing any of them is a hoot... ![]() |

Chris, Your dad's $20 barrel is a Steyr made WW2 armour's spare barrel, that are now selling in the $150 range. It would be a shame to just use this one on a shooter, as it is a perfectly acceptable period replacement on a WW2 reworked luger. TH

Thanks Luger Doc I will not use this barrel for a shooter pistol. It will be the first spare part of many I hope to obtain over time for trade or sale.

Chris et al, I also have most length luger barrels in both 7.65 & 9mm available and would be willing to do some trading. Also have good used serialize barrels available starting @$50. TH

Thanks for the interest in the barrel, I am interested in trading for some correct mags and a loading tool for the one Luger I have. I will probably post it in the classifieds for trade.
Thanks, Chris |
