I'd be suspect of the OAL of the round, as in maybe there is a very slight taper toward the top of the mag. body. You could possibly smoke or mark loaded rounds and run them thru until they jam, then examine them for sights of contact with the mag body. I'd guess length however. Got any other ammo to experiment with? Or carefully file or grind on the bullets? And while probably not relevant here, I'm not above a shot of WD40 inside of a mag. (although don't let it soak into the wood bottom.)
It just seems to me that there has to be a very slight taper of deformation toward the top of the mag. Well, you got your money's worth. Almost. DJU |
