Gaentlemen,
I have been offered to buy 42 1939 for $500. Could you please help to evaluate the deal? Thanks. |

Some additional info. All numbers are matching, no lost parts except the magazine. The exterior is slightly corroded.

The exterior is MODERATELY to VERY corroded, but if it shoots and all parts match it is definitely worth $500.

Thanks John for the remark on corrosion. I am just starting to form my WWII collection and will keep this in mind.
From the examples I have been offered to buy this seemed to me lightly corroded. Ussually WWII time Lugers in my country come from excavations or these are being found in the attics of houses hidden after the WWII from the wide-awake eyes of comrades. Regards, Artis |

WWII pistol is very hot on the market. I sold a reblued Nazi era FN 1922 recently. The buyer cares about: (1) Is it matching and working? (2) Were the Swastika and WaA# still visible, not erased during the refurbishing process?
It's sold way easier than my other postwar made 1922. |
