Default Grip safety - does it means Swiss?

Hello,

I've just met a guy from another state that has 2 Lugers - one 9mm, one 7.65 and is willing to sell them. I haven't seen them, he will send photos next week.

But he stated both had grip safety. Does it means they are from Switzerland or could they be from somewhere else?

Thanks,

There is a lot to learn about lugers, if you have access to the internet the Simpson Ltd web site currently has a great selection of lugers to look at and basic descriptions. There are also some books we can recommend.

If you can get some pictures of the guns and post here we can help you decide what to do next.

Some very interesting guns come out of your area, so we would be interested in what you have come across.

Grip safety's appear on many many variations and do no mean Swiss
