I wouldn't dry fire it a whole lot without a snap-cap in.
You might want to pick up a luger tool to assist with the loading. It does help with a stiff spring and repos can be had for under $20.00 I had the follower in my SA mag sticking and noticed the spring was binding on the side of the mag and there was a burr on the cutout area for the mag release once I correctly seated the mag spring and cleared the burr it worked much better. Some mags only hold 7 rounds. I would also suggest you pick up a mec-gar mag for range trips to save the original mag Mec-gars hold 8 rounds. I have several and they work great. |
