I do.. but not all of these guys like to have their faces published, expecially when it's on it's way down into a white inferno. I will keep that joker on hand

The JSF planes will better suit our Nato operations and personally I was hoping for the JSF instead of the other alternatives we had.
Some parts will be made at Kongsberg, the same factory that also made some Luger spare parts (just to connect the tread to anything Luger related.. )

Our current President could have flown one, but he seemed to have trouble finding the base.

And the VP was too busy going to frat parties to find an induction center.

Default Links for F-35 Lightning II

It should be noted that Norway passed on the EF-2000 Eurofighter when they chose to go with the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II.

Here are a few links for the F-35 Lightning II:

http://www.lockheedmartin.com/products/f35/

http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/jsf/

http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...craft/f-35.htm

Yeah, thanks!

P.S. Just to get my two cents in on recent political developments here in the USA: I don't think the "change pitcher" warming up in the "bullpen" is anywhere near half as liberal as many of his supporters hope, or his detractors fear. Looks to me like he's just another very savvy politician, probably a little smarter than most, maybe even possessing half a measure more scruples, and on his way to the next election. We might think about what John Wayne said after Kennedy was elected president in 1960: "I didn't vote for him but he's my president, and I hope he does a good job."

Yes, and also the JAS Gripen. Eurofighter didn't make it to the 'final', which was a battle between JAS Gripen and JSF.. both great planes, but quite different.

Of all the Scandinavian countries, Norway is probably the best in terms of being friendly with the US, Denmark being a close 2nd. Norway actually license build Colt 1911s called the M1914 and they are outstanding examples of the .45 Pistol. You all really resisted the Nazis hard and the Norweigan people were overwhelmingly for the Allies in WWII.
