Default Re: Nazi Luger ID

Recently there was an add in our classified section from an individual who was trying to sell a Luger that he had no interest in and needed the money. I inquired about it and after posting the add he became interested in the Luger, found ID on the holster (I believe) and somehow traced it back to the family of the person who carried it in the war. Guess what? He now realizes that selling it would not be a good idea. Funny how a non-collector can become a collector with the right circumstances. Although this is probably a once in a lifetime incident it does point out that anything is possible.
