Jerry The remark "A good luster of polish would make this baby shine" really made your day didn't it.

Unfortunately it will sell.

Heinz...Several things came to mind when I read "A good luster of polish would make this baby shine" Like someone is going to get it where the Sun don't shine or... a good luster of dirt, say 6 feet of it would lay this baby to rest.
I am constantly amazed at the ignorance of the general public. There is no recession...people are still spending their money foolishly.
And to think.. what will be spent on this repro trash would have bought a good book like Luger Holsters & Their Accessories.
Oh well! It aint my money!

Jerry:

Did you see the fxo black plastic bottom Luger magazine that recently sold on Gunbroker.com for $350.00? Truly amazing.

Right now it is up to 12 bids for this holster. Showing some interest.

I want to say uyp front- I don't know much! (some might add about anything, but I mean holsters).

I looked at this holster, and all I saw were two fuzzy, dark pictures. I would not bid on the hope diamond if this was how it was displayed, However, what I hope to learn is what gives it away as a older repro/fake?
I am just hoping to learn how to look better at these things.

For a couple of things, firstly no markings, the belt straps on the back are straight, not angled, the stitching, and the top flap is way off.
Im still learning too

Patrick, Sorry, I have been packing to travel to my Winter home. I have not had time to give any of the details Went has spelled out.
You can also do a search..I have written pages about this subject.
Good Job Went!
