Well I hope I have not opened a old wound!!!


I agree with both sides of this issue, I can see an original setup being left alone, and I can see someone wanting to obtain a numbered mag for a pistol that was purchased with a mis-match.


As far as a fraud .........That is a little strong. Matching up mags is far from swaping parts around, How many weapons that are in our safes can we say have all the "Original Parts"..They maybe all matching parts, but I for one was not present on the production line to watch or did I obtain a weapon right of the line in 1906!!


We can only use our judgement and experience in the field that we collect to be our guide.


Anyway, Too each there own. But an option of having a place to look for a mag would be a service.
