The stitching appears too "white" for me.
Don't know how to express this in proper English, but the strap just
doesn't look right to me.
My (unmarked) police holster, passed to me by the widow of deceased friend who has carried it from 1942 through the end of WW II, has the same "lacquer" style shell, but no markings at all.
Somehow I don't like the faint eagle as well.
