I don't know if you get a british TV show called "Foyle's War"
Its and excellent police drama set in WW2. Its "Very British" that is understated and not melodramatic at all . It relies on the story line and strength of its characters . In any case ,last week Foyle tracked down a german priest who had been cleared as a refugee , but turned out to be a spy . In the last scene , after being exposed , the spy pulled a luger on detective Foyle and threatened to shoot . Nice clear illustration of the gun . In any case , Foyle being cool as a cucumber just tells him he has no hope of escape and knows the fate of spies , and walks away. Shot rings out , and the german is dead on the ground . Its a great show , very well written and usually has a number of sub plots that cleverly disguise the outcome, highly recomended. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/...war/index.html
