Default Luger Ammo Preferences, etc.

I have 4 Lugers that I shoot, and they all seem to like Winchester 115gr, FMJ. Occasionally, I get a jam, but not often.

Question: Since the 115gr Winchester FMJs are a lighter load than the original German ammo, would it improve the performance of the action to change out the mainspring to a 36# Wolff? Is there any danger in doing this?

Appreciate any information or experience you have with this lighter spring.
