Default Hot tip

Got a call from an old friend.
A buddy of his is getting a Luger to sell.
"has swastikas on it"
I should see it in a few days.
How many have run these down to find a .25 Star auto or some such?
I have.
Last one turned out to be a nice 1917 DWM with mismatch trigger I passed on.

We'll see how this goes.

Mike, Year ago, I used to check up on luger ads in the newspaper. Usually the ones advertised as minty had been reblued or plated. TH

Buddy brought me some pics and good description.

It iturned out to be a nice P38. Bring back by the guy's father.
SVW 45, 83xxD.
135 Wa, matching. Brown grips.
Looks like phosphate frame, dunno about small parts.

Not to familiar with this variation, any body got a ballpark figure on value?

I'll probably trade it to someone who would appreciate it if I get it.

You need to visit our sister forum to announce the availability of this P.38

http://www.p38forum.com

lots of the same folks over there...

Visit Gunbroker, Simpsons, GunsAmerica, etc., to get some idea of the value. Post photos over on the P38 forum to get their expert opinions on variation and value...
