Post P.04 Type 1 Holster

Good Evening Members/Users:

A few weeks ago a P.04 Model 1906 "Grip Strap" was up for bid on Auctionarms and was presented here for "criteak". It was offered with a Type 1 Navy holster that looked pretty familiar to me and I knew I saw one like it before, especially from the back. I looked through my holster inventory and found this.

Here is a P.04 Navy Type 1 holster with period belt loop conversion. I've owned a Type 1 that was period belt converted but it still had the blocks. I subsequently sold that holster.

Still's, "Imperial Lugers", 1991, makes reference to a 1917 order for belt loop Navy holsters and makes mention of the issuance of straps for older holster conversion. Can anyone reveal more about this 1917 order to the Imperial German Navy?
