Default Re: More photos, byf 42 Is it refinished?

The absence of a 'scratch' on the area between the safety (and this should be fairly noticeable) and the fire position is highly unusual. The stamps seem nice a deep and sharp. It is a nice looking pistol. I would think that if you viewed it in the sun you would be able to tell more readily if it was refinished. As you stated that you are not trying to sell it then it should stand as a good deal. If you want to send it to have it appraised it might give you better piece of mind. I would say that you got a good deal either way. Also, I prefer the full size pics. If you can post full size please do. Cropping and scaling reduce the clarity of the picture.
