Thanks for the clarification. What I meant to say was that I know Georg Luger PATENTED the Sear Safety in 1916.
I thought the parts should have been strawed. I have contacted the seller, and he is willing to take it back as per the standard 3 day inspection period. It's a shame, because overall, it's a pretty nice piece. Just a hair more expensive than I think these factors add up to.
