I just this morning received an e-mail from Pawel Nowak offering collectable militaria. The copious photos that he sent didn't look to be taken in the same place with the same skill or background. So I looked around...

"I have posted this on a number of sites, but just in case collectors or would be collectors here haven't read it, do so and beware! His modus operandi is to contact you and offer you German medals, (or swords if you are on a Japan/sword/Aikido site, or maps if you are on a diving/treasure hunting site, he's a busy guy!), and sends you photos that he has taken from other collectors sites or dealers online stores. You then send him the money and never see it again. He offers a large amount of personal information and photos to secure your trust, but having learnt the hard way, he can't be trusted.
