Anyone here have a Steyr GB?

I very much appreciate you're helping me with this tac but with all due respect, there is no way this thing could have had more than a few boxes of ammo through it. It is very tight and the finish is like new. There is just no wear anywhere. With steyr, quality control is never a question so I'm confident it was properly chromed. Isn't it entirely possible that some cheap corrosive ammo, such as the egyptian crap in the early 90's, was used and then it just sat? We're not talking a shot out barrel here, just a few specks mostly towards the front.
