Well, there is one I fondled every night through Christmas season; an early 1900 with an inscription on the side in German of "Merry Christmas 1903", and the recipient's name.
It was hot salt reblued in 03 after the inscription was done, and the temps caused the whole gun to turn plum colored. It is charming, my purple Christmas Luger. I love it a lot and it speaks to me. |
