Vesuvio,
both Pete and Tom are correct. But, just for clarification purposes only, Pete's above #3 request is that he wants to see the size of the heads flange on the rear toggle pin. The rear heads flange size on a navy Luger is noticably larger that the heads flange on a P-08. So, if that flange is of the smaller size but still fits the receiver, then the gun hasn't just been messed with, its a counterfeit. If that is so, then you have to get into a whole bunch of other things regarding that rear toggle and its sight. More than likely, if there is a fault, it will be that the rear toggle pin would the P-08 pin and you would see a poor fitting on that flange. Its not uncommon for a Lugers toogle pin to accidentilly drop out some time during its long life time.

As for pictures, I would like to add to Pete's list a little. Maybe the serial number on the extractor, the front and rear grip straps, the serial number on the side plate...Oh Geez, give us all you can get. But don't be surprized if we all agree that this gun has just been messed with a lot. If you want a shooter, then price it accordingly.
