hello and welcome Eddie;
give us a bit more information; 1939 and what is ont he toggle (S42 42, etc) What is the # under the eagles on the right? most likely the stamping of a name is the holster manufacturer, but if "carved" in, it is possible to look for a ww2 vet in the archives, but without a serial number a very long shot. Would love to see pictures? Ed
