Default not a good prospect?

Hi Stephen, I'm not sure, but I'm thinking the plastic used for the grips and bottoms was, a Phenolic Thermal Setting Resin, similar to our bakelite... It's a one shot deal, molded with pressure and heat, with excellent strength and dimensional stability...until it gets old... then it breaks like glass and your just screwed.... CA (super glue) will be very marginal, 60 second epoxy is your best shot... and only a 50 / 50 chance it will meet you needs... best bet is to seek a new or different mag, and sometime, when your a bit luckier, replace the one broken with a brown or black bottom till you find a red one... Best to you, til...lat'r....GT
