Hi:

For the 7.65mm, the original DWM round nose ammo was loaded to 1.173 inches (29.8mm). Seems long doesn't it? Much longer than anything commercially available today. Try this length, and your Luger will not jam, with the proper powder charge, of course.

For your flat point, try 1.14 inches (29.0mm).
