We got hit by a nasty storm while I was working on the computer. My computer went down, our roof ended up across the street on top of cars. Bricks from our store front destroyed a car parked in front, etc. It was literally raining inside parts of our 3 floor building all the way to the basement. Good that the books had plastic over them. All the books & guns are OK. I just got done getting interviewed by FOX News, etc.

Everyone is safe but we have a lot of damage that will take a long time to clean up.

PS: We have about 8 Deluxe Editions left. (Closed for today due to storm.)

Default Storm!

Brad,

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. We in the Deep South have to deal with storms like that frequently. Hope the repairs go quickly!

Best regards to you and your staff,
Mike

Thank you. We may be closed for a while. There are still loose bricks on the front of the building. It is not safe to use our front doors.

Brad, I am very sorry for your losses but thankful no one was hurt.

Getting back on topic, I received my copy of the book this week and have completed a once-through. Ed and Graham, you have done the collecting community a real service in collecting, organizing and presenting this information. Brad, you have done yourself proud in the quality of the product you have produced.

Glad the store is 'getting better", its life, but irritating when things go blewy.

Thanks guys for the comments, apprecaite it. I literally just got back from Chattanooga, flew out to TN for the Napca convention. Met a lot of friends from the forums there and friends I knew only from the net and forums.

Bought some small items, sold 22 books (Brad shipped them there for me ) and just had a nice time.

Lugervern said it best...I just finished my first read through; there is a great deal of information here for the collector and the researcher. What I like most is the structure of how the information is presented, clean and to the point but presented in such a way that should new information ever become available the original contents purity should remain intact making this a valuable reference for our generations and for those to come.

I agree wholheartedly. I am most happy to have two copies, a deluxe..nicely done and a regular for both of my reference libraries.

Truly a valuble addition to the Luger collecting field.

Just finished reading the book for the first of many times. Great job Ed and Graham. Also Brad nice job on printing and distribution. It's hard to believe the knowledge and information from when I started collecting lugers 40 years ago and now. It's all thanks to efforts such as this one. The collecting community owes you. Bill
