Default A few post war reworks

Any ideas about these two guns? The pig skin holster on the first gun and the PVP marking on the second?

Just took the photos, have had the guns for some time, they are getting harder to find.

Mark,

The holster looks like a boiler room copy of a Radom holster. Probably easier to make than a conventional Luger holster. The Russian issued DDR Luger holsters that I have seen and owned were all pig skin. Identical to a late war side flap P.38 holster with a small flap attached to cover the heel or butt of the Luger.

The PVP mark would probably translate out to a Volkes Politzei "VOPO" unit.

Ron
