Eric,

There is a NAPCA member that usually attends the member-convention in TN that tracks Russian Luger serial numbers. I do not recall his name, but maybe another LF member might and could let you know who that is. If I recall correctly from about 2 years ago, he seemed to have nearly a dozen reported serial numbers on his list and I think he would not add a gun to his list if he did not have a chance to see it it person.

BTW...several of us got to see a Russian Luger under a glass case at the last SOS show in KY in Feb. Owner was not around when I looked at it and I could not see the serial number. Worrisome about this one was it was in brand spanking new condition...like it came out of the blueing tanks 1 month prior. Other boosted and/or forged Russians are out there as well...

IIRC...about 4-5 months ago, I thought another Russian manual ran on eBay. I lost track of it as I was traveling, but it looked real and bidding was nearly $ 1K and not concluded when last I looked...

So maybe other Russian manuals exist ???
