I think you may still own a spud gun in GB, but you must grow your own potatoes and you may not be in posession of more than one potato at a time. Plus, you must store your spud gun and your potato at least 25 kilometers apart in locked facilities, supervised 24 hours a day by unarmed guards. And you must be prepared to prove the whereabouts of your potato plus account for all missing potato pieces (keeping written records in triplicate) on demand by any government official, including bus drivers. Lastly, you will immediately be sent to prison without possibility of parole if you should at any time SHARPEN your potato...
Or am I thinking of California?
