Default Re: MISSED LUGER PURCHASE

Thats the beauty of this forum. There are a lot of thinks I have learned from here that just are not said in the books. The books are a great help too. But I have been collecting lugers for twelve years now and I have made a lot of mistakes both buying bad guns and not buying good guns. My trouble is that when I see something I really like, I forget my experience and buy with emotion. You'd think I would have calmed down by now. I try to get a second opinion whenever possible before I buy and that way I can reduce emotion. But I can not always get an informed second opinion. My list is long on mistakes in both directions. If mistakes build character, then I have to be quite a character.
