Well, I rececived this 9mm Finnish luger recently as a gift. Thankfully, I do know the provinance of the piece; it is one of the Finn lugers that came from AIM.

It's a somewhat odd piece, though.

First, it has a 4" barrel [most finns have a 5" barrel]. More curious, at some point in time [probably during one of it's refurbishments] it was done up like a BYF [the so called "black widow"] luger; All parts blued [truly blued, I checked], black plastic grips [they are originals, I also checked that as well]. It bears the [SA] finnish property mark on the left hand side. All parts are either un-numbered or are matching; The Takedown lever, barrel, trigger, and toggle arm are all marked with the last two digits of the serial number. The pistol does show some evidence of being refurbed, perhaps several times, by the finns. The toggle is marked DWM, and it bears the import mark of TG guns discreetly on the right side, like all these recent finns do. The bore is excellant, and she shoots amazingly well.

Amazing piece, shoots great, I really like it!
