Default Well I personally think...

it's every bit a part of history as the original gun. True, it may not be a collectible, but so many pistols were nickel plated just as a "matter of corse" on entering the US, and this stands as a "shining" example of this practice. While collectors will obviously cringe, we can't ignore that this practice took place at a time when no one realized that these weapons would become so highly sought after. It's a great piece, thank you for sharing it.
