...rare example of the initial twelve guns made at the Krieghoff factory in Suhl Germany between September and December 1945 while under the US Military occupation.

Except that they Russians were already in charge by this time if memory serves me correct... I seem to remember John telling me that the US was in charge of the area until July or possibly August, if my memory is working (hey, thats twice I said that )
