Hi folks,
I'm a new owner of a very nice 1936 s/42. It's in wonderful shape but seems to have a problem. I can't manually cycle the toggle mechanism as will not fully retract. I don't want to force anything and it seems like the ejector bar has a slight bend in it already as if someone tried to cycle the toggle against it's will.. I'm new to these pistols and may be totally off base. I'm hoping you fellows could kindly steer me in the right direction. Thanks! Rob H |

Rob, I'd first check the connecting link from the rear toggle to the recoil system to make sure that it moves freely and is not the shorter M1900 link. I've seen that happen before. TH
