Default Wood Magazine Bottoms by G.T. and Grips by Hugh

Just received my first two magazine bottoms from G.T. - one in walnut and one in cocobolo.

The Cocobolo mag bottom almost perfectly matches the beautiful Cocobolo grips made by Hugh for my shooter.

For those who have not seen these, the workmanship by both is excellent. As a fellow woodworker, I am envious; wish I could do that.

Hugh's cocobolo grips and G.T.s mag bottoms are indeed spectacular! The really nice thing about the mag bottoms is they don't have the shoddy workmanship that the Germans thought was 'good enough' for the public..G.T. goes them one better and makes them perfect! Hugh has to slow down on the grips for awhile and concentrate on Herr Thor's baby Luger (we can't have him trying to do quality work with all the anxiety of having such a beautiful holster..but alas, empty!).

Having a 'set' of the grips and the mag bottom is quite an attention getter I have to say. It is great to have craftsmen here that are into Lugers..what a great combination.

Hey Luke,

GT did a couple of mag bottoms months ago, the only thing I can say about them is...Whew! They were really works of art! I had one with the concentric circles and one normal one made, what a treat! Thanks again GT!!
